Hi Donna,The sample sizes are 4oz which is sneficifut to paint an end table, nightstand, or chair or similar sized piece of furniture. The wax is amazingly easy to use. The wax is $21.95 per tin. You do not have to use the clear and dark in conjunction with each other (so you're saving time and money). So, you just paint on the wax, let it dry for an hour and then buff with an old t shirt.
